(i) Quantification

Numeral adjectives can refer to countable things so to indicate their number or quantity.

ex:

Il y avait cent dix personnes à cette conférence.

(ii) Combinations

Numeral adjectives may follow some specific determiner.

ex:

mes deux chats; les trois mousquetaires; ces six roses rouges
