"Crosseyed and Painless"
In the 17th chapter of Logic of Sensation, Deleuze discusses one of Francis Bacon's techniques, diagramming. Bacon interjects chance-induced (accidental) variations into the formations on the painting, so to deform them. Deleuze then quotes from the Talking Heads song "Crosseyed and Painless:"
I'm changing my shape, I feel like an accident.
